Dave Chappelle has said that he is willing to speak to members of the trans community, who recently protested against his comedy special.
A representative for the comedian, recently spoke to TMZ, revealing that Chappelle is open to having a conversation with members of the trans community, who took offence to comments he made in his new comedy special.
According to Chapelle, no one from Netflix has reached out to him yet, despite Ashlee Marie Preston who organised the recent employee walkout in protest of the comedians special, claiming she had invited him to the table to “talk”.

Chappelle’s comedy special, which debuted on Netflix on October 5, sparked outraged amongst members of the trans community, who claimed that some of the comedians joke were transphobic and homophobic.
