Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos has said that new series Squid Game is on track to be their biggest ever show.
The new Korean drama currently holds the number one spot on the streaming platform after reaching the top on its fourth day of availability.
Speaking to Deadline, at the Code Conference event on September 27, Sarandos estimated that the drama could be on track to be the platforms biggest ever show if viewer numbers hold up over the next few weeks.
Sarandos also showed some slides showing which series and films had been viewed the most by accounts on the platform.
Bridgerton season 1 was the most popular series on platform with 82 million accounts tuning in to watch it, whilst hit film Bird Box was the most popular film with over 99 million accounts watching it.
