The acclaimed director has gone back an forth over the years on his opinion if a Kill Bill 3 will ever happen, but now we seem to have a concrete answer.
The rumours began circulating in 2019, when Tarantino said, according to Dazed, “I’ve wondered about what happens to The Bride (Uma Thurman), you know, ten years later, fifteen years later. What happens to her daughter.”
“Me and Uma have actually talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth,” he added at the time, though he then admitted: “I’m not sure if I’m going to do it.”
However, later that year he confirmed the project is “definitely on the cards.”
Also in 2022, Vivica A Fox who played The Bride’s arch nemesis Vernita Green expressed excitement for the film makers talks with Thurman suggesting Zendaya could play Green’s orphaned daughter, bent on revenge.
Fast forward to this year at the Rome Film Festival, Tarantino accepted a lifetime achievement award from Dario Argento.
When asked what his next feature film will be, he said that he had “no idea”, but added, in response to speculation that it could be Kill Bill 3 he said “why not?”
