Overall, Jeffrey said vacation is not an excuse for not continuing physical activity every day, but one should not feel that one should have the same level of expectation.

“Training on vacation doesn’t have to be as complicated as training at home,” he said.

“For some people, who they are is very important. They are always looking at their numbers,” he said. “Try removing it from your watch for a vacation.”

Break is the time to take a break from monitoring your heart rate as you exercise and forget to count your steps and calories burned. Instead, just instruct them to do their daily physical activity without laces.

“Don’t worry about everything else,” Harrison said. “Move your body.”
